Armando Riera, MSN, APRN-BC, AHP, HP

Armando Riera, MSN, APRN-BC, AHP, HP, is an advanced practice family medicine clinician with more than 30 years of nursing experience, including 18 years as an Advanced Practice Clinician. He has served across primary care, urgent care, perioperative services, clinical care coordination, mentoring, and leadership roles at Jackson Memorial Hospital, UM/JMH, and Mercy Hospital. A graduate of Florida International University with both a BSN and MSN, he is board-certified and actively licensed as an RN/APRN. Armando is a nationally engaged nursing leader, currently serving as President-Elect of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Board of Directors for 2026–2028. He is also a frequent keynote speaker, presenter, mentor, and community advocate, with extensive involvement in Hispanic health, nursing education, professional organizations, and international conferences. His work has earned numerous honors, including Nurse of the Year, Advanced Practice Provider of the Year, humanitarian and community service awards, and recognition for decades of dedicated service to healthcare.
