Manny Ramos, DNP, RN
Manny Ramos, DNP, RN, serves as President-Elect of the Philippine Nurses
Association of America and has played a defining role in building PNAA’s national
leadership-development infrastructure. He led the development and creation of the
online Innovative Leadership Development Program (iLDP) and served as its inaugural
director for seven years, helping prepare more than 240 Fellows and establishing a
culturally grounded, scalable model for leadership, mentorship, governance, and
chapter-based community initiatives. As the inaugural Director of the Camp Aruga
Leadership Bootcamp, he worked with the Steering Committee to design and
operationalize a sustainable national program supported by a comprehensive
leadership framework, digital resources, member engagement, and scholarly
dissemination. As PNAA 2024-2026 Membership Chair, he was instrumental in the 38%
increase in national membership to more than 7,000 and expanded PNAA’s reach to 62
chapters. A nursing professor and policy advocate, Dr. Ramos advances workforce
diversity, educational transformation, interprofessional collaboration, and organizational
sustainability.
