Rocio Sanchez, MSN, RN

Rocio Sanchez, MSN, RN is a nurse leader with over 15 years of healthcare experience and a

clinical focus in critical care since 2020.


She currently serves as Treasurer on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), supporting financial strategy and national initiatives that elevate nursing leadership and health equity.


Rocio is also the Program Coordinator for the Greater Chicagoland Chapter of the National

Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE), where she leads educational programming to support Latino representation in healthcare leadership.


She recently concluded her term as President of Nursing Professional Governance for Advocate Health, representing more than 22,000 nurses across Illinois and Wisconsin.


Rocio is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Leadership and

Management and remains committed to building inclusive systems, mentoring future nurse

leaders, and driving culturally responsive change in healthcare.
